Hello MC2 College Pathways Students!
In just a few weeks Math Circles of Chicago will be getting our own fall programming underway, and there are many great opportunities for all of you to start choosing your pathways for awesome mathematics this school year.
You can now go to our sweet new website to register for Cantor or Kovalevsky math circles at one of our hub locations that meet on Saturdays or Sundays. Qualifying students can earn stipends that start at $150 for attending these math circles, while earning points that will help you qualify for the opportunities below!
We are seeking applicants who are interested in assisting in middle school math circles to apply to be Fall High School Assistants. We are particularly in need of applicants who would be available to work at our hubs at UChicago, Payton, or our newest hub in Rogers Park at FORA. Applications are due by September 6 to have the greatest chance of acceptance into the program, and will be filled as applications roll in, so apply today!
For those of you who are graduating high school in 2026, we invite you to apply to be part of the inaugural class of MC2 Scholars. Students will need to apply by October 17 to be considered for a scholarship of up to $2000 for their next steps into higher education.
That’s all the news for now, stay tuned for our next newsletter in September with information about QED & the Research Pathway!
